Black tea (Camellia sinensis) - Black tea is the fully oxidised (fermented) green leaves of Camellia sinensis. Black tea is high in amino acids, antioxidants, polyphenol compounds that reduce inflammation and fight against chronic diseases. We use two types of black tea cultivated in the hinterland of Sunshine Coast and Far North Queensland tea estates.

Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) - Freeze dried blueberries are rich in anthocyanins that are found to improve eye health, cardiovascular disease and antimicrobial activities.

Cacao nibs (Theobroma cacao) - Cacao nibs are the roasted shells of the cacao bean that have been crushed and separated during the process. They are rich in antioxidants, magnesium, potassium and natural fibre. Antioxidants help fight free radicals in the body that cause DNA damage associated with chronic diseases.

Caramel - Caramel contains flavonoids that induce the release of hormones to positively enhance mood and feelings of well-being.

Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) - Green cardamom is a spice from the ginger family. Rich in antioxidant polyphenolic compounds that are linked to lowering diabetes by regulating the breakdown of fat and glucose metabolism.

Chilli peppers are a good source of vitamin C that have properties of inhibiting the activity of free radicals that cause DNA damage to the body.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) - Cinnamon is a spice full of antioxidants with properties that help relieve inflammation and balance blood sugar levels.

Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum) - Cloves provide a high source of phenolic compounds that break the chemical activity of free radicals. Cloves are found to have antimicrobial properties that fight against foodborne pathogens.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) - Ginger originated in South-East Asia and traditionally used to relieve digestive health and cardiovascular disorder. Ginger is also rich in antioxidants that inhibit the activity of free radicals causing DNA damage and antimicrobial properties that fight against infectious food pathogens.
